Final round arrangements
In order to cope with the large numbers we are expecting at lauder for the final round please note the following arrangements
1 Leisure centre will be open from 10.30 am to cope with demands for changing.
2 Please park in the village and register at The Leisure Centre or walk up to the park for the start-parking is very limited in the park and access is difficult.
3 I have arranged with the café in the Leisure Centre to have very good rates for all runners and supporters for tea/soup/rolls/etc. Please pass onto all runners etc that REFRESHMENTS ARE NOT FREE BUT THAT THE LESURE CENTRE CAFÉ IS PROVIDING QUALTY PRODUCE, ALL HOME MADE, AT A VERY GOOD RATE. Runners may bring their own refreshments if they wish.

The windy conditions on the day didn't faze young Andrew Crichton who
took fourth place overall in the senior race, against some stiff
competition, with a time of 28:29. Club mate Stuart Hay took 8th
place in 29:00, with George Gilhooley not far behind in 11th place in
29:36, closely followed by Grant Noble taking 12th place in 29:40.
Ross Combe finished in 32:48, with Steve Pattison, Rhona Anderson,
Anne Hay, Andrew Anderson, Mary Pattison and Scott Turner all
competing strongly on the day.
The junior race attracted a good sized field with Dunbar's Alex Noble
finishing 5th overall in 15:00, with Cameron Law having another
excellent run finishing in 17:02 and Elliot Mullen completing the
course in 17:49, with Joanne Lindsay almost finishing level with
17:50. Dunbar's Hamish Law finished in 18:16, with Nicole Turner
(18:33), Katie Proudfoot (20:22), Joe Kowbel (20:25), Gemma Bolton
(22:29), Callum King (23:27), Kirsty Wilson (23:48), Megan McLaren
(24:00), Katrina Maguire (24:11), and Claire Denholm, (27:56) all
putting in performances to be proud of in the strong headwind to the
finish line.
The previous week saw George Gilhooley competing in the East District
League at Livingston, finishing the tough two-lap course in 34:24.
27th April - Hamsterley Forest, Co. Durham - 12km
11th May - Bowderdale, Eden Valley, Cumbria - 18km
20th July - Kielder Forest, Northumberland - 15km
All races start at 10:30. Entry is £10 attached; £12 unattached (£2
extra on race day). For 3 races £27 attached; £33 unattached.

The mens race starts at 1:00, the womens at 1:30. Declarations close
30 mins prior to each event and the cost is £3.50 per athlete.
