Kinross Road Runners - Races
Saturday 12th May 2012 - Loch Leven Half Marathon
Our aim is to ensure that it continues to be "one of the best half
marathons in Scotland". The route is gently undulating round the
scenic shores of Loch Leven with a slightly different finish this year
at the new Loch Leven Community Campus. Start time - 1pm. Entries
£17/ £19(not affiliated). Enter through Entry Central.
We are also organising the Milnathort Dash - a 5.5 mile run for those
who like running a hilly route, but prefer to run on, rather than off,
roads! It will be held on Thursday 21st June 2012 on the quiet roads
round Milnathort - entries will be through Entry Central in May, with
entries on the day if there are still places available.
We look forward to welcoming you in Kinross.

March in 4:21:33 while still making the recovery from a broken foot!
Well done Seonaid. The weather, it has to be said, was nothing like
what we experienced last night - it was unseasonably hot and sunny
(like a British summer?).

and musing on lost opportunities. Could they too have become Olympians if only they'd eased up on those doughnuts and stuck to their
training regimes? As a boy, Adharanand Finn had the makings of a promising long-distance runner. Named after the Sanskrit word for
Eternal Bliss, he spent his teenage years competing in cross-country races in Northamptonshire. But he let it slip in his twenties and by
his late thirties all that remained was a host of nagging what-ifs.

Dunbar 10k - Provisional Results
A couple of known issues (one sorted, one not - yet).
There was a slight mix up with one of the ladies prizes due to "inadvertent gender realignment during the on line registration process". This has now been rectified - but prizes as handed out on the day apply.
Also some runners have noticed a slight discrepancy in their watch times to ours - this is being investigated and will be amended if necessary (however, the all important positions are correct).
We have received some fantastic pictures for Lesley Marshall that can be viewed HERE
We also have some snaps of the event "before and after" that can be viewed HERE.
