LAMMERMUIR CIRCUIT
The proposed date for the Lammermuir Circuit is Saturday September 5th.
Traditionally we have organised this so that runners can do a set distance (10k, 13.1 miles, 20 miles or the “full fat” 30 mile run). However, we thought that this year we would do something different – relays! Yes really, “relays”.
Runners can opt for how many they want in their team, how far each of them wants to run or even how many times you want to run (you could run more than one leg if you want).
And remember with so many committed to running in this years Loch Ness Marathon this is an ideal opportunity to fit in a long(ish) training run before the big event over terrain that’s every bit as challenging and certainly just as scenic as Loch Ness.
PLEASE let us know a.s.a.p. if you want to take part, what distance you would like to run and then we will arrange for transport to drop off and collect runners from their start and end points.
So far, at least, one runner has signed up for the “full fat”, so why not sign up for a leg of the relay at least to keep them company on part of their journey.
As ever soup and sandwiches (and pizza) will be laid on at the end.

SHOES
ASICS, it would appear, are the shoe of choice, with 43% saying that's what they choose to put their feet in.
4% went for ADIDAS, 14% for Mizuno, 17% for NIKE, 9% opt for New Balance, 7% for Saucony, and one runner who didn't give a dam as long as the price was right.
Eyes right and upwards for another poll of little or no significance.
